Building Design Charrette
On Saturday, April 17, 2010, 36 talented individuals gathered to collaborate on concepts important to building design. The school's vision guided the thoughts and inspired the creativity.
The morning session saw four teams working on each of the following topics: community connection, campus site plan, spiritual emphasis, and programmatic needs. During the afternoon all work focused on the various elements of green and sustainable design.
What energy and creativity dominated the day! How exciting and helpful the results were! The ideas generated will now be summarized by the architect team and the concepts considered for the preliminary design.
